Nike SB Dunk High TRD QS Shoes
This quickstrike Nike SB Dunk Hi is a collaboration between Nike SB and David Chang, the award-winning chef and founder of Momofuku. The collaboration sits at the cultural intersection of food, skateboarding and sneakers.
Chang has lent design inspiration from two of his New York City restaurants; including the dark denim upper which is modelled after the aprons worn by staff in David’s restaurants. Waxed black laces complement the dark denim upper.
Hints of peach and green add a pop of colour to the Nike SB Dunk Hi Momofuku. An embroidered “Lucky Peach” logo on the side and lime green accents including the lime green heel tab. The colours of the “Lucky Peach” logo are incorporated into the Nike SB logo for the woven label on the tongue of each shoe.
Inside the shoes we’ve got custom insoles with the “Lucky Peach” logo printed all over it. Plus the numbers 163 and 207, noting the addresses of David’s Fuku and Ssam bar restaurants in NYC.
Great impact protection with full length foam cushioning and Nike Zoom Air in the heel, offering you responsive boardfeel and high level impact cushioning for those bigger landings.
Not forgetting the high top silhouette and padded collar and tongue that offers you supreme comfort and ankle support.
At first you’d think an unlikely collab for this classic Nike SB silhouette, but Chang has been a big fan of Nike since ‘87 and partners with Nike SB by providing food on Go Skateboarding Day.
This quickstrike Nike SB Dunk Hi looks really rad and has some sick details on it. We reckon this would look sick with some black trousers, leave the denim, and a white T-Shirt.
